About MODern Housing Solutions

MODern Housing Solutions (MHS), comprising of Carillion plc and Enterprise plc, is responsible for maintaining 40,000 Service Families Accommodation (SFA) in England and Wales over a seven-year period from January 2006, with the potential for a three-year extension.

MHS is committed to a collaborative approach. We believe that this way the effectiveness of the whole can be greater than the sum of the parts. Collaboration takes two to do. With Defence Estates, we aspire to joint activities wherever possible: joint team building, joint planning, joint problem solving; joint training; joint communication. With our customers we look particularly for dialogue: exchange of information about the service, feedback on key likes and dislikes, keeping of appointments or notification of the need to change and so on.
