Roles – Who we are and what we do Modern Housing Solutions (MHS) is contracted to maintain your property for you, and to help you when things breakdown. Our services include both response maintenance where you call us to get repairs done, and planned work where we maintain your property in line with a programme of works which is subject to DE approval. . Within this integrated service Defence Estates deal with all the allocations, bookings, and move in/out issues, and we work with them to define and provide what maintenance needs to be done in your property to keep it up to the standards which the MOD housing policies dictate. Health and Safety - Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees, housing occupants and anybody else who can be affected by our operation is seen as a wholly integral part of, and paramount in delivering, the Housing Prime Contract in an effective and efficient manner. Training of our workforce to the highest safety standards is seen as an important aspect of the service delivery and a continual programme of monitoring will help ensure that our operation delivers the required service in the safest possible manner without risk to occupants and their families.
